On November 2nd, I traded in my white 2002 Isuzu Rodeo LS and began a lease on a brand new 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS! This is such a nice truck!! Initially I thought to get a silver model due to being easier to keep clean, the Ridgeline was for my husband so I purchased the color with him in mind. I chose black because he had an old 1991 Acura Integra he absolutely loved, and it was black so I chose that color once again (plus it's a beautiful color for the Ridgeline). It is truly harder to keep it spotless (not going to be 100% spotless but perhaps often we can keep it somewhat clean) so that fact is true, but it is sure beautiful when clean.
The inside of the Ridgeline is a very nice clay color that is weaved with both lighter and darker colored materials and has a very slick feeling to it making it seem almost leather-esque. It seems like it will be very easy to keep clean and the floor mats are "all season" mats, so that should help when needing to drive/ride with muddy footgear. I like the dual climate control because I'm hot natured and he is cool so he can crank up the heat and I can keep it cool on my side. That's a very nice feature (I know other Honda models have this feature, but this is my first time owning (leasing) a vehicle with this feature so I really appreciate it.)
The other features that won't be so important but are nice: the stereo controls on the steering wheel, the back sliding glass window, and the 6 disc CD changer really enhance this truck making it feel quite like a luxury vehicle more than utility. Not to mention, I love the way the tailgate opens to the side as well as down. How innovative! Then there is the storage area hidden in the bed. That's just cool. I'm so glad we are leasing a Ridgeline! It has so many nice features and I have to quote the TV ad "...above all, it's a Honda"...
